Following a competitive tender, Marshall Aerospace has selected the HAYSYS Direction Finding System, for Cambridge Airport in the UK.
The new system has a total of 4 frequency channels and 4 displays – 2 in the Visual Control Room and 2 in the Approach Control Room. HAYSYS has provided a full turn-key project, that included all of the civil works and the installation of new fibre optic cables between the Tower and the DF Building (shown).
The system also interfaces with the airports Cobham RDS 1600 RADAR Displays and their new Thales TopSky ATM System.
