We are pleased to announce that the Irish Defence Forces, has selected the HAYSYS VDF System for their Baldonnel Aerodrome, south-west of Dublin, Ireland, following a competitive tender.
The contract, as well as the removal of the existing Fernau DRDF System, includes the complete renovation of the building at the Antenna site.
The system will provide the Air Traffic Controllers with greater situational awareness with the highest level of functionality that they have ever experienced with any VDF System previously.
The system was installed in April 2019 and was approved and operational shortly afterwards.
