Direction Finding System

Through Copperchase Limited, HAYSYS introduce their Direction Finding (DF) system for use as an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Navigational Aid at both Military and Commercial Airports.

The DF System uses the Doppler principle to provide the users with the relative direction, in degrees, of a radio transmission and operates at both UHF and VHF frequencies for both fixed and mobile applications.

The system uses a modular approach to its configuration providing the ability to monitor up to eight frequency channels on a single antenna and up to 14 displays off a single EDF Processor.

The system provides an accuracy of <+/- 2 degrees (CAP670 Class A Bearing) (Site Dependant).
